A Message from Boris Johnson MP for Henley-on-Thames

Every year, more than 135,000 people experience a brain injury. Recovery can take years and is often only partial, with almost no opportunity for re-employment, socialising or independence, often resulting in shattered family and personal relationships.

For many people with brain injury, Headway Thames Valley provides the only means of support and rehabilitation therapy available to them, and has successfully helped to improve their quality of life, often including a return to work and education.

The loss of the current facilities at Townlands Hospital means that Headway Thames Valley has to find a new Resource Centre to continue its vital work.
